During early 2020, there have been an increasing amount of racist and discriminatory incidents targeted at Asians and Asian Americans because of COVID-19. We have collected news related to this matter, and have sectioned it into U.S. Government Documents, Incidents, and Actions Taken that include government letters, reports, media coverage, etc. Taken altogether, these examples demonstrate that heightened anti Asian racism and xenophobia due to COVID-19 are real, serious, and threatening issues that must be addressed.
