Community Support

This list contains several Asian/Asian American associations across the country.

The list is by no means exhaustive of all the associations that exist in the United States but we continue to add to and update it.

These associations may be able to provide you with a number of resources and services for your current situation as well as be of use for the long term.

We hope this information will be used by those who need these resources as well as those with assets and capable of offering support, to strengthen our community in both our times of need and our times of ease.

The “Association Name” includes a hyperlink that will take you to their website.

Most associations aim to help the Asian and multicultural community at large but focus their efforts on helping a specific community listed in the “Demographic” column. These communities vary from specific ethnicities to socio-economic groups and include immigrants and refugees.

The easiest way to sort through this information may be to look into the “Locations” of the associations that are physically near you. Highlighted rows include associations that function at a national level and may have multiple locations, listed on their website, with offices or resources.

The “Industry” categorization is somewhat arbitrary but the “Notes” column provides supplementary information, usually taken from the association’s mission statement, about how the association may be useful to you. Associations vary from being focused on educating the public about cultures and ethnicities, to strengthening the community with social events, to providing legal, health, or professional development services.
